| Lou Dobbs Hosts Environmental Face-Off |

Phelim's encounter with Al Gore at the Society of Environmental Journalists last week captured the attention of Lou Dobbs on CNN. Dobbs included video footage of Phelim's inconvenient question to Gore in a news segment. At the close of that report, Dobbs chastised Gore for once again pushing the myth that polar bears are drowning because of global warming. "It turns out they didn't," Dobbs said. "That's sort of straightforward and a simple fact, isn't it?" Dobbs also invited Phelim onto the show to debate Fred Krupp, president of the Environmental Defense Fund. Phelim blasted Gore for repeatedly avoiding public questions about his movie An Inconvenient Truth and the factual errors it contains. "As the organizer said, this was the first time in four years he had agreed to take questions from reporters. That's a disgrace," Phelim said, adding that it's "bizarre" for Gore to contend that the world is in crisis but avoid questions about that doomsday claim. "I must believe that he doesn't really believe the world is about to end." Phelim also refuted Krupp's flawed arguments that the globe is still warming. "Those great climate models that say we're all going to die about 2050 missed this cooling period," Phelim said. "In fact, if it cools much longer, it'll be cooling longer than it warmed."

Common Sense I applaud the work of Phelim. Al Gore and friends have hundreds of millions of dollars worth of reasons to push this fear that is based on theory instead of factual, proven science. Their doomsday theories are certainly enough to scare those who willingly ignore their own common sense and those too lazy to do their own research. The earth, the entire universe, goes through cyclic periods that began long before the human civilization and will continue long after we are gone. To say that humans are destroying the planet is a bold and extremely egotistical statement. Are those "polluting industries", who, by the way, provide jobs to tens of thousands around the world, really the bad guys? Or is it people like Al Gore who has made outrageous profits off of the fear they create? |

David? They are not very pleased about the prospect of eating all that crow when they pass us, the deniers, on the street in the near future. We need to organize some public demonstrations in front of such sites as Greenpeace and Sierra club headquarters. Movie Title Correction (wish) The new movie being aired on Sunday 18, Oct 2009 needs a title change IMHO. It really should be entitled "Very Evil and Wrong". Al Gore, Pelosi, Ried, Obama, Biden, etc., are knowingly pushing this evil nonsense agenda called Global Warming/Climate Change. They are enemies within our borders. When a society is manipulated into the latter mode of thinking, they are much easier to oppress and control. It's not just the global warming swindle. Our world is being bombarded with bogus information on many fronts (which seem to increase almost daily) that are designed to scare or shame us into submission. Rational thinking people everywhere are seeing through the scams more and more everyday. People are waking up to what is happening and the ridicule of being a crazy conspiracy theorist is becoming increasingly transparent. |
