This Saturday, Ann McElhinney spoke at the Constitutional Coalition's Educational Policy Conference (EPC) in St. Louis. She discussed her documentary, Not Evil Just Wrong, which has been described as "the antidote to An Inconvenient Truth." She warned the attendees how Gore's film continues to be shown as an unquestioned part of the school curriculum, even though the film contains nine significant errors. McElhinney elaborated how Global Warming is not a proven science and how the media coverage of Global Warming is depressing to U.S. school kids, offering little hope while blaming America's way of life. "...It is all bad news. Because it is all caused by capitalism. And it is all caused by humans," said McElhinney. By the end of her speech, McElhinney received a standing ovation. She hopes to see the documentary shown side-by-side Al Gore's in 2010, and has published lesson plans to help teach about it.

a wild irish rose ! When she took a seat at the end of her address to the conference on Friday morning, I sat about ten feet away from Ann. As the applause for her presentation reached a point where it would rest and then naturally fade, Ann was beaming, looking so happy to have connected with those present. And then it happened. The applause did not fade, but began to grow, until the room was filled with the sound of 500 souls trying to find some way to express our gratitude for the gift Ann had given us. That was the moment when it happened, the look of pure joy on her face. The wind is to your back Ann, all the best to you, and all our thanks. |

... Great report! I asked some time ago why NEJW wasn't available on Netflix. It should be, right up there with An Inconvenient Bunch of Lies. I'm traveling but I hear the weather in Anchorage is a lot nicer than on the East Coast. Paula |
