If you'd like to snuggle up with a good piece of biased reporting, I'd suggest an article recently written in the ironically dubbed Independent. The newspaper covered the series of scandals hitting the Global Warming community. In the article, Professor Stephen Schneider is portrayed as a victim of a hijacked press conference by our own Not Evil Just Wrong's director, Phelim McAleer. The Independent reports, "The confrontation is just one example of the new uncomfortable world in which climate change scientists and campaigners now find themselves working in." Uncomfortable climate? Are you kidding me? The press conference was held during what amounted to a two week vacation in a beautiful city surrounded by dozens of eco-fanboys. McAleer did what a journalist is supposed to do, and that's to ask hard questions, especially with a scandal like Climategate breaking. You can watch the video for yourself: The article goes on to accept the weak excuses sprouting from the IPCC's public relations department, as if it's alright for a scientific body to be riddled with incorrect reports. And for a finishing touch, you can check out the advertising for the WWF while reading the article. For an article that suggests the case for Climate Change still stands strong, I'd say they have some fact-checking to do.
