Al Gore is the principal prophet of doom in the global warming debate, and the 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth is his gospel to true believers. But Gore has misled them.
The judge based his decision on nine inaccuracies in the movie. The Gore-loving U.S. media largely ignored the story, but starting premiere night Oct. 18, Americans will hear it in Not Evil Just Wrong. To set the stage, here is a recap of Gore's claims and why they are flawed:

Pretty obvious they found out the temperature was dropping. I like to blog and speak with others and use sarcasm and humor to convey my believe. First of all what the heck is "climate change" mean? Are they trying to get rid of those EVIL seasons??>?> I mean it's like claiming the sunrise is a bad thing and OH MY GOD those evil sunsets that follow/ LOL. I do hope they fix this crazy "climate change" thing quick though, because Winter is coming and I'm afraid it's going to get COLD  |

I think my problem is Global cooling... I didn't believe global warming for a second when I heard it, because i've heard it all before. Not so long ago in the mid 70s, my brother would read OWL magazine, and National Geographic and tell me that if the world got just 4 degrees colder we would have another ice age. Pollution from cars, factories and people was the cause. So shocking that after just 40 years of cooling, after almost a hundred years of warming, that we suddenly were the cause. But that's what we were being told. I read the articles with interest, but wasn't a 'believer' at the time. Then in college I heard it again, global warming, caused by pollution from cars, factories and people.... hang on I've heard this before? and this time just about 20 years of warming, and it was us again!!  well don't forget greenpeace isn't your friend their like the crooked tent preacher telling you you'll go to hell and burn, but you can stop it by sending your money TODAY! |

Believe / not believe. the end of the world has us all falling on of those two sides. is the government out to get us? believe, not believe. Jesus coming back? global warming is real The "global cooling" that was predicted in the 1970's was a result of all the aerosol pollutants going into the atmosphere, leading to global dimming. back then scientists didn't understand the complexities of the relationship between CO2 and temperature, and thus predicted a global cooling, which actually did happen. Now we understand teh strong relationship between CO2 and temperatures. Also, BTW, it is not a big conspiracy to get your money, rather the opposite. It is an effort to get control out of the hands of the oil companies who force you to buy gasoline at $4 a gallon, and to drive a junky gasoline powered car that constantly needs gas and repairs, when you could instead be driving an electric car for 10 times less money. But the oil industry has patents on the batteries for electric cars and is keeping them off the free market so that you can't buy one. |

When posed with a legitimate question about his movie's claims, the former VP tries to make the questioner seem a fool and plays to the crowd to get laughs--then shuts off the questioner's microphone. Unfortunately for Al, there are many such questions, and many more people to ask them, and he won't be able to dodge them too much longer---and he won't be able to shut off their microphones. And so I will be using as much fuel as I want, air conditioning when I am too hot and yes probably pour something down my drain that I shouldn't. Sue me. And by the way, have any of the pundits taken a realistic look at the Gore families real "carbon footprint"? And I am not talking about whether or not his families mansion is greener that his neighbors, or if his limo is electric powered (which it isn't, and the guy burn more fuel in just his limo rides than most americans that have a 27mi daily commute. He's just another punchline from the "do as I tell you to do, but I am exempt", crowd of the washington elite. When I see him on a Schwinn riding his way around the hill, I'll begin to hear his voice. Till then, the guy is just white noise. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go light my garbage burn pile with some diesel. |

How Very Strange For the past generation or so, American students have not been taught how to think for themselves. Instead, they've been slowly brainwashed to simply accept what the social engineers have crammed down students' collective throats. In the short years since those of my generation were in school, (a) corporal punishment has been all but outlawed; (b) teachers can't mark test scores in red...heaven forbid teachers actually get across to students that they're failing; (c) the number of students who can read at their own grade level or above has taken a precipitous drop; (d) grammar, writing, conversational, and comprehension skills are at an all time low; (e) the Pledge of Allegiance is fading fast from the daily school curriculum; (f) Bible Clubs have been forbidden; (g) parents of little Johnny don't believe their precious angel is actually the devil incarnate - because he's verbally abusive to teachers & other authority figures - he would never do anything wrong, blah, blah, blah (amazing how some forgot how they behaved when in school); (h) math and science scores are among the lowest they've ever been...I could go on and on... The point being that the present educational system is positively chock full of so-called educational specialists who believe education is actually a science and needs to be treated as such. There is no memorization of dates, names, places, math tables, etc. They've been replaced with a mumbo-jumbo, feel good, goulash that means nothing. Young impressionable minds eager to learn (no matter what the social engineers say) have been squeezed and brainwashed by a hurd of psycho-babble zealots who are intent upon destroying the very system that actually educates students. Unless something happens very quickly, the American education system may never find its way back to the days of the Primer and the 3 R's. |

Don't Believe Al As a geologist, I can tell you that the earth has experienced much warmer and much cooler global temperatures than any that have ever been experienced by mankind. I'll start to worry when either the natural maximum or natural minimum is exceeded. The global warming crowd is simply using pseudoscience in an effort to make a ton of money. Just take a look at who will profit the most from cap-and-trade legislation and you will find those who are pushing the global warming scare the hardest. You don't have to be a scientist to figure that one out. Global warming is driven by political and economic interests, not good real world, real time science. It's not about a warming planet...it's about cold cash...and that's the truth! |

I'm at a public school in Toronto and am faced with public discrace for my position on the matter and the documentary. And the unfortunate thing is it's not by students who believe they are "informed", it is by the teachers themselves. Teachers here don't even do the minimum research on this side before teaching it to the students. it is ridiculous. We were forced to watch it in class without admitting to the errors listed above. After trying to talk about them, I was kicked out. So much for learning in class, huh? |

I don't think Al Gore got up one day and said, "OK I'm going to put together a bunch of lies, schedule some lectures, scare the public and MAKE SOME MONEY!!" Maybe he thought, or still thinks, that we are going to be in serious trouble if we don't change the way we live. People (including me) love emotion--we love to be angry, defensive, scared, happy, sad, excited - if his documentary had been full of the maybe's/it might be that/we could be faced with, etc it would have been milktoast and totally boring. Does that mean its okay to lie to get the public's attention? No, but it might explain why Mr. Gore chose the worst case scenario's to present. |

It is time for those with clear thought to take this country back the likes of Gore, Soros and Obama. 2010 elections will be what we can all be part of to end this evil experiment. This group has to be stopped...they must be elbowed out of the way. When I saw a random, on the street survey, done within the last 45 days that only 35% of the respondents knew who Joe Biden was and even fewer knew Nancy Pelosi made me realize that there is a real danger to our country. Truly stupid people, possibly a majority, have the ability and are given the right to vote in elections that have consequences for years to come. I too once looked at Al Gore and saw an over-weight, frumpy, joke of a man, he's not just a loon these people are dangerous.
