This is not an insult. It is a fact. The Age of Stupid claims to be a documentary but is set in the future and is dominated by an actor (Pete Postlewaite) reading a script. He plays a character from the future lamenting our present day stupidity. The filmmakers think they get away with calling it a documentary because the film also features present day examples (of what they believe is stupidity). One of these examples is Jeh Wadia, an Indian entrepreneur, who wants to bring cheap flights to even the poorest people in his country. We are supposed to tut tut at his plans although it is notable (but not noted) by the film makers that Mr Wadia is the only person in the documentary who talks about ending poverty. Mr Wadia believes "everyone has a higher purpose" and his is to "end poverty in our country in my lifetime." The filmmakers do not seem to think that eradicating poverty is a worthwhile objective. In fact they view the poorest people in the world becoming wealthy as a problem rather than something to celebrate. For the film makers Mr Wadia is a villain and his goal to end poverty in India is the problem and not a solution. This is not surprising from film makers who previously declared the "good news" that GM is bankrupt. And those guilty greens who think they can buy their way out of Global Warming with Carbon offsets get dismissed because the film makers "don't believe offsets are doing any good." Of course it seems that flying is only destructive if Indians do it. Under the "green rules" white filmmakers who make make well meaning documentaries about Global Warming are allowed to take planes. A few weeks ago the director Franny Armstrong admitted flying to the US and around north America to promote the film. In an email to supporters she said she felt "guilty" but there was no alternative. Now Ms Armstrong and her Stupid team are flying to Australia to promote the documentary there. She thinks it is OK for them to fly to Australia because "we should be able to make a huge impact." Welcome to the Age of Entitlement - where the rich greenies get to fly and travel to foreign countries because their work is important. And the poor remain poor - by design.

We can mark this as a historic moment in the fight to expose the truth behind Global Warming alarmism. The Climate Establishment has admitted to what skeptics have been saying for a decade, the earth is not warming.
